Direct from its sold out performances in Orlando and Atlanta with the touring show “Wicked Little Tales”, Phantasmagoria Orlando/DiDonna Productions is proud to be presenting PHANTASMAGORIA VI “The Darkness Returns” to celebrate the 2015 Halloween Season and its sixth year in Central Florida!

With the ongoing critically acclaimed success of the past five year’s installments – as well as special events and appearances around the Central Florida area throughout the year and a recent summer tour to Atlanta, GA – the brand new PHANTASMAGORIA VI “The Darkness Returns” thunders on to the Mandell Stage at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center with all new stories of terror! Live performers, “Phantastical” dance, explosive stage combat, large scale puppetry, aerial performance and haunting storytelling combine to create a tapestry of macabre and whimsical horror!

Phant_VI_img3Join Phantasmagoria’s evocative troupe of storytellers, dancers, and chorus as they embark on their newest journeys through the literary tales of terror, as well as horrific folk stories, legends, and myths from around the world. “For 100 years they have not been seen except in fleeting glances, and now as we enter a new century the power and magic of the stories return. . . with very dangerous consequences.”

Under the creation/writing/direction of John DiDonna, with co direction by Kevin G. Becker and Seth Kubersky, additional direction by Chris Prueitt, choreography by Mila Makarova, additional choreography by Serafino Schiano, fight direction by Bill Warriner, all new original music and soundscapes by Les Caulfield, and others (including composer Tod Kimbro, the national touring band The Cog Is Dead, and Washington DC’s Samovar Russian Folk Music Ensemble),costumes by Shelly Henriott,  lighting by Jerry Klein and projections by Dana Mott, this new installment presents us with a truly “Phantasmagorical” way to spend a macabre, whimsical, and terrifying Halloween!
